Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow forecasting
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement SOX controls
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Optimize accounting systems and process improvements using QuickBooks and SAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and complex reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
