Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end and year-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize tax strategies
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
