Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage intercompany accounting and consolidation activities
- Conduct financial variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Maintain robust internal controls documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (PivotTables/VBA)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams or projects
- Tax preparation experience beneficial
