Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Lead financial modeling and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with SOX compliance procedures
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects
