Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 10-15 client portfolios including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate on tax planning and preparation for corporate clients
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks and accounting software systems
- Provide strategic financial guidance to client executives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private practice
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance
