Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process and prepare supporting schedules.
- Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
