What you will do:
- Drive strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial forecasting and trend analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor budget performance and identify variances, recommending actionable insights to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to assess the financial impact of new initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and forecasting tools using advanced Excel functions.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
- Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions to management to ensure financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify cost reduction opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Assess the financial viability of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), and SQL is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or CPA designation is a plus.
