Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to financial controls and policies
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities in coordination with external advisors
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems and generate custom reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to full-cycle operations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
