Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with 99% accuracy
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory compliance documents
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage month-end close processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Remote work experience with self-discipline
