Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit engagements with third-party firms
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with data visualization skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination
