Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and properly authorized.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices in accounting workflows.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Software: Experience with tax preparation software and general ledger systems.
