About the Role
In this position, you will take ownership of core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements. You will work closely with management to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external auditors during year-end audits.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
