Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Lead internal audit coordination and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
