Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial workflows and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
