In this role, you will be responsible for managing our accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors. No prior accounting experience is required—we will train you!
Responsibilities
- Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Process accounts payable transactions in our ERP system with a focus on error-free data entry.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all invoices and documents.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting preparation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in numbers and data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a professional work ethic.
- Previous experience in an office or administrative setting is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
