Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal controls
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for budgeting and strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel-based reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven experience managing audits and regulatory compliance processes
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders
