Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing
- Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee internal controls and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide cross-departmental financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate exposure
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and SOX regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance preferred
