Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations across general ledger accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external partners
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Support budget forecasting and variance analysis for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive experience
- CPA license required or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
