Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit processes with third-party firms
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with tax specialists on quarterly tax filings and year-end reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems with zero tolerance for discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with macros
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex financial data
- Proven track record of process improvement and deadline-driven performance
