Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental clients
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax preparations
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage multi-state accounting operations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
