Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 100+ employees
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
