Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Support tax preparation and filing processes with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of process optimization and financial control implementation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration across departments
