Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for portfolio companies
- Conduct in-depth financial audits and internal control assessments
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain compliance with evolving tax regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Boston-area residency required for in-office collaboration
