Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
