Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and reconciliations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes
- Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Manage VAT returns and tax submissions
- Coordinate annual audit processes
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years in accounting practice or industry
- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with month-end closing
