Join our dynamic finance team in London as a Senior Accountant and drive financial excellence for our growing portfolio of UK clients. We're seeking a meticulous professional to oversee complex accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights that shape business decisions.

Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring adherence to UK GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Lead tax compliance activities including VAT returns, corporation tax, and PAYE submissions
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Provide financial analysis and KPI reporting to senior management
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in UK accounting practices
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP accounting systems
- Deep understanding of UK tax regulations (HMRC) and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience managing multi-currency transactions and international subsidiaries
- Strong Excel skills including advanced pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- CISA or CFE certification preferred for internal audit focus
