Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and Excel
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting or audit
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and VAT compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial reporting for multi-currency operations
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
