Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory compliance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Sage preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Experience managing financial reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
