Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis initiatives
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain accurate fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international certification
- 5+ years in financial accounting with UK exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Xero/QuickBooks Online
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven remote work collaboration capabilities
