Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for multi-state operations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accurate reconciliations
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season preparations
- Maintain organized financial documentation in secure cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software ecosystems
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
