Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budget planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record of process improvement initiatives
