Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns adhering to HMRC regulations
- Develop financial models and variance analyses to support business decision-making
- Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Mentor junior accountants and implement process improvements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in UK-based organisations
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and SAP accounting systems
- Demonstrated expertise in UK tax legislation and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing financial audits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
