Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring UK GAAP compliance
- Oversee tax reporting and liaise with HMRC auditors
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial systems
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for departmental heads
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- Expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, and HMRC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Sage 50 and Excel (VBA desirable)
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions and consolidation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven leadership in cross-functional finance projects
