Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with UK GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting for stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during external and internal audits
- Implement and improve accounting controls and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification required
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
