Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss reports.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and coordinate with tax consultants.
- Maintain accurate internal controls and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or SAP) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and integrity.
