Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and identify discrepancies to recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to budget for future projects and track expenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
