Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget forecasting and financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Lead tax preparation activities and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Proven expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit support
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Detail-oriented mindset with zero tolerance for errors
