Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and internal audits.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing detailed variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
