Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Manage tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors efficiently
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
