Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, payroll, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate tax withholdings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with month-end closing processes
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
