Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure general ledger accuracy.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to improve operational efficiency and controls.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
