Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and state tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports for management review.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
