Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and financial audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all deductions and withholdings are correct.
- Monitor budgets and provide financial reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent communication skills.
