Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and local business tax compliance.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Valid US work authorization and a reliable home internet connection.
