Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, trial balances, and general ledgers.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance audits.
- Process payroll and manage tax withholdings for remote employees.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain financial records.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully in a remote or hybrid work setting.
- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
