Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks accurately and efficiently.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and recommending appropriate products.
- Assist customers with account opening, maintenance, and resolving inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and reconcile daily transactions and cash drawers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote bank products and services.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance policies and bank security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree or previous banking experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is a plus.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle large sums of money with 100% accuracy.
- Proficient in using computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch schedule.
