Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service for all in-branch inquiries and transactions.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile general ledgers to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet sales goals.
- Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining accurate customer records in our core banking systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience in the financial sector is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check as required for financial positions.
- Familiarity with banking software and POS systems is an advantage.
