Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Enterprise system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (CA labor laws, FLSA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 99.9% accuracy
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Generate payroll reports for finance team and executive leadership
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Enterprise payroll software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR-related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep knowledge of CA payroll regulations and tax requirements
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
