We're seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely compensation for our diverse client base. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records, reconcile discrepancies, and calculate overtime/commission payments
- Manage tax filings (federal, state, local) and year-end W-2/1099 processing
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee benefits issues
- Maintain compliance with FLSA, ACA, and state labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Deep understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and payroll tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
