As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, from timekeeping data collection to final distribution. You will work closely with HR and management to resolve discrepancies and ensure a seamless payroll experience for our staff.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately using ADP or similar payroll software.
- Calculate and verify employee hours, wages, commissions, and deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments).
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll tax reports and file necessary state and federal returns.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including payroll accruals and expense reporting.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, direct deposits, and payroll policies.
- Conduct audits of payroll data to identify and rectify errors before processing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA, wage and hour laws, and payroll tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
